Monster.com wanted to make a splash during the Super Bowl. But they didn't want to spend $4.5 million. They didn't want to spend anything, really. So we created a little tweet that made a big impression.

Instantly, after the nail-biting finish of one of the closest Super Bowl games in history, Monster posted a congratulatory Tweet - to the wrong team.

At first, some people didn’t get the joke and thought we’d made a mistake. But those who looked closer realized we did it on purpose, to raise awareness that Monster can help anyone - even Social Media Managers - find a better job.

Adweek called it a masterpiece of Twitter trolling. DigiDay said it was one of the 5 best Super Bowl brand moments. And ad folks across the globe gave it Clios, Sharks, etc.
